Club Captain Raises £600

As captain of Rhyl Golf Club, Alan Williams chose the PSP Association (PSPA) as his chosen charity to support during his year of captaincy in honour of long-standing member Roly Jones, who was diagnosed with corticobasal degeneration (CBD) last year.
Alan Williams, captain of Rhyl Golf Club during the fundraising, said: “Roly is a good friend of mine. When he received his CBD diagnosis, it was extremely hard seeing increasing changes in him”.
“As captain of my local golf club, I saw an opportunity to do some good and raise some much-needed awareness of CBD.”
CBD is a rare neurodegenerative condition that affects balance, speech, cognition and mobility. It is estimated to affect around 5,000 people in the UK.
